Music Score

Composed, Arranged & Performed

By Rick Wakeman

Originally trained as a classical pianist, Rick was also a pioneer in the use of electronic keyboards and by his late teens he was already an established session musician and a member of the folk-band The Strawbs. Between 1969 and 1972, the name 'Rick Wakeman' began appearing on the credits of albums including a who's who of influential music legends such as David Bowie, Cat Stevens, T. Rex, Elton John, Lou Reed and Black Sabbath.

By the summer of 1971, Wakeman joined YES, one of the founders of progressive rock music and also enjoyed a parallel solo career releasing a string of multi-million selling hit albums across the globe.  Rick has most certainly established himself as one of Rock's most charismatic figures and toured the world extensively, whilst maintaining a prolific stream of new music material to record.
